not the copper my mate, draining water into a well.:)
I also use Google maps but on a 10" Samsung tablet although I have used the phone, just need to make sure data is off on the phone or, like a friend, you can end up with a huge phone bill:eek:
depending on your phone contract I suppose, your right.

A lawyer friend used Google on his phone to travel from Nice to Pujols near Bordeaux. He just put in the start point and the end point whist in the car and set off. It worked very well but he was not amused with the bill for £400 and the fact that his phone was not operational until he paid.

My goodness, I am surprised at that bill. I use the google driving app all the time and the only time it really needs a connection is to work out a route (not all the time). If you download the current "Area Map" for an entire country (or countries) tot he phone the only time it needs to have an internet connection is to do the plotting of a route AFAIK. I have used my phone abroad to plot cycling routes in Holland and it has cost next to nothing. Very odd.

If no map is downloaded via WiFi, it downloads phone data as it goes to create the route, it also provides traffic alerts that are not available off line. It also depends of course o what sort of contract you have.

Must be a terrible phone account. Maps doesn't use much data, even for long journeys. I have a VirginMedia data sim in my car 3G wifi dongle with 500MB for £6 a month, and rarely use it all. Interestingly VirginMedia have given all monthly customers an extra 10GB data during Covid-19 !!

Not a fan of fixed screens in cars myself, I prefer to have GPS on a tablet so I can do route planning in comfort on the kitchen table with a map for choosing the way points so it follows the route I want.
i have a tab i usual use.
the radio just has the extra option. lol

i have unlimited data on mobile and tab.
we using broadnet for emergency call out hence unlimited data.

Downloading an area map requires a lot of data.

It doesn't use much data if the area map has been downloaded in advance via WiFi.

Glad its not just me with a to do list, couldn't you just cut out the damaged section and replace it? it won't be under pressure will it;)
No pressure just a drain pipe, it's encased in a plasterboard casing, I've had to cut bloody holes in the casing to find the end of the pipe and the Flipping leaking section.

I leave bottle traps with poison bait in he roof which the mice seem to prefer to plastic pipes and wires:)
I've used the switch back boxes in the ceiling and a blanking square to cover up, put the poison bags into the box and seal the hatch. Yes, they love the wires, insulation and wood... Little barstools...

Is this the drain from a hot water cylinder by any chance?
Just had a panic over tax declaration, they have always sent me a form as it was not possible to declare my pension on line, this year nothing and wife suddenly realised the deadline is the 11th:mad: So eventually I have managed to get to the end of the form, they bloody near want to know the colour of my underpants:mad::mad::mad: Feck knows how oldies with no computer skills are supposed to manage. Rant over.

Rant granted!
We have a duel aircon/heater inverter system upstairs and it has a small bore drain from the condenser to outside.
I don't envy your declaration form, ours is done by madam of the house and honestly I wouldn't have a bloody clue... So did you have to declare the colour of every pair you own? I mean, what about your Sunday best?? Is nothing scared anymore..:p
