Hi,
Have a bit of a problem with my indicators.

Plugged up a old trailer we have to the defender 110 TD5 '01, and i had a indicator on at the time. When i plugged it in the indictor stopped.

Everything else seems to be working hazards ect, So i thought it might be a fuse but in all my manuals it doesnt say anything about the indicators having its own fuse.
Anyone know what fuse it is or what the problem might be??

John.

so when you plug in trailer electrics plug your indicators stop?
If so you have problem with trailer elec's
1st thing plug in another trailer board or trailer if problem persists its you tow bar electrics.
If all works fine its the trailers electrics.
Buy a new trailer board and use that, assume trailers electrics are dodgy.
Problems you get with trailer plugs is they usually get left outside in the elements and the contacts corrode, bugs move in, bulbs corrode, contacts also, bugs move in. ect.
they are a pain in the arse. I always use a separate trailer board with the 5 foot wire, keep it dry and it will serve you well.:)

Wel when the indicator stopped working i disconnected it form the socket and the indicators havent worked since. Want to get them going on the defender before i try and sort the trailer.

Any ideas how to get them going?

I see.
Bums, I am afraid I am unable to help. Indicators don,t work, hazards do work. Possible not fuse or relay. could be worse and be your wiring somewhere.
Aah what a nightmare.
Wish I could help.:(
