Here's one for any auto electicains out there.

My indicator light (on the dash warning light panel) has not worked since I had the vehicle (Trailer light and hazard ones fine). I thought it was bulb. Having taken off dash etc then it appears that the Green and red wire which feeds the indicator warning light (through the loom connectors that slide onto the warning lights panel) has been cut. Possibly someone tried to by pass it at sometime for some reason? Can't see anything obvious to re-connect it to!
So do I go down to the indicator relay and look for a Green and red wire coming out of that and wire into it, or any other suggestions please!

on most vehicles prior to use of ECU's used direction indicator dash warning light are connected to green/white and green/red usually piggy backed of the hazard switch using the opposite of direction being indicated for return path
ie green/ red fed return path green/white via bulbs to earth.

Hi thanks!

have just looked again and you are right. My green red goes into a connector then to a yellow lead which attaches to hazard switch. The yellow lead is broken so will rejoin and hopefully should work. Nice to hear from a Worcs man!
