Hi all, I've hunted through searching for an answer to my problem but none match up to mine, so here goes. I'm doing a full rebuild of a 1985 90 and the only problem I've got is my indicators if I indicate right the relay clicks but no lights flash only the dash light flashes if I indicate left only the nearside rear flashes and no dash light and if you turn on the hazard lights the the relay clicks and the only light that flashes is the switch it's self. It's well earthed to a galvanised chassis, the bulbs and holders, relay, hazard light switch, indicator stock and chassis loom are are all brand new. Has anyone any ideas.

First thought is a faulty relay, or dare I suggest maybe one of the new connections is wrong? It's easy to go wrong with the colours. The side lights will prove if you have a decent body earth to each corner of your landy. If not that, I'd check the wiring starting at the hazard switch - both sides of the indicators are wired to there. If you make up a test lamp from an old indicator unit earth one side to the battery negative then put the other side to each side of the indicator unit in turn to test the wiring as far as the hazard switch.

Hi zeaphod... Thanks for the reply. I will give it a go on Monday night hopefully this will point me in the right direction to find the problem.
