Indicator problem on my new 90

Hi Guys,

When i indicate either left or right, the trailer direction indicator light on the dashboard flashes once at the same time as the normal direction indicator arrow. The direction indicator arrow then continues to flash as normal.

Is this normal? I have read the manual and it doesnt mention this behaviour. Can anyone shed some light on this?

The vehicle is a 2006 defender 90 XS with no trailer fitted.

Dealer phoned me today, so i just asked them, and they confirmed this is normal.

Hi there, just to reassure you further, my brand new 90 CSW does this also.

My old 90 does it as well but only on one side. It is also the hazard warning indicator.

Normal. No problems. All Td5 i've seen do that.
