Indicator - louder please?

Now I accept it might be my hearing, or the wonderful sound proofing in a 90 TD5 cabin (2001) but I keep driving with the indicator on as a) if often fails to cancel, sort of ok with that but also b) the relay is so quiet one can't hear it at normal road speeds.

Anyone tried to fiddle with such? I assume it is the relay that makes the tick?

I guess I could just get a big flashing light for the top of the dashboard...

Mine too.
I've got a 12v buzzer ready to wire into the circuit. Quite annoying but certainly safer than driving round with an indicator flashing away.

What about that green flashing light Landrover kindly installed on the dash? That's usually enough to tell me it's still on.

Me too, it's hanging out of the flasher unit, some day I may fix it in properly

That should fix it. Wire between the output of the flasher relay and earth.
