Gutted I couldn't make it. Must keep a wheel bearing set in my tool box for times like these.... I did think of getting one for the lakes trip, but thought........it I'll be alright!.......What an idiot!

Thanks for the comments guys. And big thumbs up for the day. Only managed about two thirds of the route so we'll pick up where we left off next time. Also include the other suggested lanes. Should be good next time. Only minor damage this time and NO breakdowns. Champion! Hope you all got home safely. Wish me luck for tomorrow's MOT lol. See you soon......

Sorry just need another peak lane fix ....nurse!:D

Pete took a few pics, I have a couple of videos ... they'll be uploaded later ..

Just got in, traffic was awful to Baslow then pretty clear so not bad getting home .. so good in fact we decided a Chinese would be good, instead of cooking! ;)

Had a great day, such gorgeous, warm, weather. Dust everywhere .. and smiling walkers, on the whole! Juliet loved it, even though she's in a little pain! God we're a family of hypocondriacs ..

Just home about an hour ish ago, noticed a bit of a knocking/slight banging.........after a bit of an inspection i now have a broken rear shocker  is gone right at the top on the ring where it bolts to the chassis, still under warranty so hopfully just a case of gettin em replaced (fingers crossed and touch wood.......and i know were talking landys but not that wood!!!)

Jeez mate .. what shock are they? I have three standard rear shocks in the shed, two as a pair with about 20k on them, my spares and one brand new ..

They are procomp +2 es9000 only bout 9mnths old! E-mithered paddocks about warranty etc as im sure that must be classed as a manufacturing floor? Lets hope so! Only niticed when I got to bottom of our street while goin over the speed humps!! Lol

A couple of videos .. First a decent lane we didn't do on the Bouncing Bakewell run 'cos the entrance is dodgy, directly across a road from another lane with no room for queuing.

Pete in front of me with David leading

The second one is Sheep herding .. couldn't find any Pigs this time .. ;)

Bye bye Sheeps

Couple more to follow later .. :)

The Twisty One ..

This is the one we didn't do on the Bouncing Bakewell run which I had in as an alternative .. It doesn't show well the severity of the twists, but you get a good idea, and the narrowness of it! Definite possibility of breaking Discovery mirrors, and Alpine lights, here .. ;)

The twisty one

Meeting others ..

Lovely lane, dappled sunlight, met a Range Rover near the start, again, we'd met him going up another lane earlier!, and then along the top a few Defenders where it was pretty tight to pass!
