i want monster tyres so they look good and get me out of the **** lol.

Monster tyres can be great! but make sure you do some research and match the tyres you buy to the terrain you are likely to be driving.

The tyres you buy will hopefully be the one most impressive and performance enhancing modification you make to your motor. They are not a "get out of jail free "card though. Honest... I know!

The biggest limitation to your "get out of the ****" rating is your own ability. Cheap tyres and lots of practice is better than expensive tyres and hope for the best every time.

Having said that... I still get stuck a little too regularly for my liking when at play days. Much less often when laning though.

If you want to know the pros and cons of big tyres ask spyderman or jai_landrover. They're running 900s and are much more experienced than I am in these matters.

Cheers

it isnt all about the height either, sure monster tyres can help with ground clearance, but monster all terrains wont help you grip if you got to drive through a sludgy mud run. its as much about the tread pattern as anything else

as ryder has said, ability pays a big part. its one thing having a hugely capable motor, and quite another driving it capably

take your landy out as it is, with the tyres you got. from there you can decide what route ot take. go for a drive with other guys runnig differant tyres.

i know b3aker on the forum is running AT's and when he spent a day in my landy with baja claws he immediately said he wanted them - they offer alot more grip. but your best option is to try and go for a drive with other people running differant types of tyres.

and as mentioned, see if you can ask jai or spyderman, they are the big tyre gurus about
