Hi all,
I have been meaning to ask this for a little while now, after I bought my 90 and towed it back to my Nans field, I noticed something in between the carb and the fuel pump. It's a cylinder which the petrol appears to flow through about 9 inches long, it looks factory as there are some white clamps around it connected to the washer bottle?
There is a sticker on it but all I can read is in-line conditioner?
I asked my college tutor what he thought it was and he went and got something that looked very similar to mine, he said it was an in-line lead replacer, he got it for his Westfield he was building to supposedly turn unleaded fuel back to leaded?
It's just bothering me as my 90 is a 1986 2.5 petrol and everywhere I have read my engine should have been built for unleaded fuel.
Can anyone help? Is it needed?
Cheers,
Lloyd
