As we all know, the cease of production of the Defender is soon. Seemingly either this December but I have also heard it may be extended till February.

In celebration to one of the greatest machines of all time, I suggest some sort of tribute on that day. For example a trip to Red Wharf Bay, where it all began. This end of an era and a legend deserves a good send off.

Thoughts?

There's a deeper context to your really good post. Defenders are evolution of the series line. They are interlinked. Its a fookin bad thing what LRJ are doing and they'll regret it for sure. Be reassessed all ya 110 n 90 fanatics it doesn't stop. Series production stopped in 1983. It'll live on for decades. What's yet favourite Defender out there ☺

Will the 'new replacement' Defender be allowed to grace this website if/when it comes out (not that I imagine any proud new owners would want to come here!)? If it is allowed in will it be thrown in with the Gaylanders and then name that forum as the 'leper colony' .:D:D

If it goes with current trend in their pricing, the rich b*****DS forum
