All the OP should need to do on his year of car is put key in ignition and press fob.

Update........it's running :amen: my wife's friends husband knows a chap who might be able to help! So after exhausting what I thought was every avenue, and ready to throw in the towel, I thought I had nothing to loose, so he came over, and after an hour or so......knock me down with a feather the old girl started up!! Wot a relief, didn't need the nanocom at all, just a simple trick with the key!!! Wish I knew this before I paid out £400 :frusty:

That's what my handbook says but it wouldn't work when I tried it. I needed to put key in the door lock and as it was unlocked I pressed the lock button and turned the key to lock at the same time. this resynced the system![]()
