L322 Images of temp sensor

Hello haven't been on for a while as vehicle running great until recently now parked for 1 month due to gearbox solenoid but I also have another fault my vehicle is a L322 Range Rover AJ8 engine 4.4 petrol v8 with a P0116-24 code Engine coolant sensor 1 circuit Range / performance showing can anyone help with either how many sensors and their location on engine hope somebody can help thanks

What is the actual fault doing or do you just have a code?
If the battery has gone flat or low you will have a few faults that will probably just clear after you use it for a bit

Hello thanks for reply I recently changed alternator as it had poor charging current. Vehicle now has a new battery and power lead battery to starter new viscous fan changed when I bought vehicle. Recently the temp sensor fault keeps coming up and if needed I would rather replace now and then sort the gearbox solenoid fault but not sure of location on engine

Follow the top radiator hose to the thermostat, chances are it's nearby.
