Im looking to an extended body lr

Im looking for advise on a bullet proof engine to fit. Needs to be something that can be maintained in the rough. Was leaning towards Toyota or isuzu diesel. Im not a purist , i just want a very aggressive vehicle.any thoughts would be appreciated.

How reliable and field repairable are these. Which gearboxes would mate to them or is s new collar needed to be made

It's a million mile truck engine, if you manage to break it in a Land Rover I will be 1) amazed and 2) in need of resuscitation after laughing so hard my sides split.

You can get them ready to go in with an Eaton tranny and you just need to divorce your transfer box, all kits are readily available.
