If ye're lookin' to sell it, try a quick look on ebay for some idea of price Couldn't ye have done a trade in?... or did the garage look at it and say 'no thanks, they're too hard to shift' ? There's not many of the 1.8's round here for sale in the garages, ah think they just punt them down to Carlisle auction mart and hope they can get summit for them.
If ye can't sell it private then ah suppose the auctions is an idea

put it on ebay for spares or repairs.

i got 600 notes for my maverick when the engine blew up, but then again it was mint condition apart from the fooked engine, with full mot, tax an full service history.
