I'm having problems starting my Discovery 94

I'm having problems starting my 1994 Discovery 2.5 Tdi after I've used it. It mostly starts the first time (depends on the weather!) but once it has stopped, there's only two ways home, first the AA on the back of a truck or to walk!!! I have been told it could be something to do with this Spider unit, so I've ordered a special part from landrover which is ment to be the fix. Please help!!!!

A lot of disco's suffer failure of the spider unit. It is a junction box in the alarm imobiliser system. Its not hard to fix, just means taking out the middle section of dash ( radio, cup holders etc)
I did mine last year but just soldered up the dry joints in the unit.
Do a search on this forum for spider unit, there is lots of info. If you get stuck, let me know, and I'll forward you some step by step instructions that I followed with no difficulty.
