Ignition sequence

Does anyone know the numbering of the connections on the ignition coil pack. My leads and plugs have been changed and I need to verify if they are correct.

Its a P38. 4.0 petrol 2001 model. 2 rows of 4 sockets one above the other..

According to faultmate there is misfiring and rough running on plugs 5 and 6

I cant find any info on rave. Looking from the back of the engine towards the fromt how are they numbered on the coil.

OK, as you stand at the rad grille and look towards the windscreen the HT leads are numbers as follows:

Vehicle Offside/ Vehicle Nearside
Bulkhead
8 / 7
6 / 5
4 / 3
2 / 1
Front of the vehicle

OK .. EASIER explanation ....They SHOULD connect like this >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
Offside pack
Conn 1 -to lead/plug 3
Conn 2- to lead/plug 5
Conn 3 -to lead/plug 8
Conn 4 -to lead/plug 2

Passenger side Pack
Conn 1-to lead/plug 6
Conn 2-to lead/plug 4
Conn 3-to lead/plug 7
Conn 4-to lead/plug 1

(As Above plug Numbers are) ...VVVVVVVVVVV.....(Standing at front of car looking at windscreen)

Somehow managed to get 5 & 6 crossed over. Now corrected and misfire cured.
