Hi All

Hope someone can guide me in the right direcion. The problem is that at the start of the week i started getting the the warning display saying that i'd left the ignition keys in even though i hadn't.

And after reading a thread on here telling me it was the micro switch sticking in the barrel and to spray it with a bit of WD40, which i did and it cured the problem.

but today the problem came back and now the key won't turn in the ignition barrel and i can't start the car. Has anyone got any ideas, can i strip the barrel down or is it a new lock set

Many Thanks Beast

Gave it another go,it took awhile, degreased the lock first a couple of times then flushed it out with WD40 then steadly applied the light oil while moving the key around and in and out the lock until it came free and repeated the same light oiling throughout the weekend and now it works a treat
