Hi all, first post here so be gentle! I have recently purchased a LPG converted V8 2001 Disco which I'm slowly learning all about and have maanged to crack the No.6 HT lead whilst changing the plugs which then resulted in a nice missfire.
After reading a fair few threads on here I purchased a set of Magnacor Blue 8mm leads with the daunting task of trying to replace them. First off though I thought I'd swap out No 6. After scraping the back of my hand getting the lead off I then found I couldn't get the Magnacor to plug into the block, I know these have to go in at just the right angle but it just plain refused to go on. So not sure if it's just a very tight fit as getting the original back on wasn't the easiest either or I'm just being a wus and not trying very hard
Now I'm wondering if I got the right leads. I've got a pic of the two connectors below which do look very different. Any thoughts or advice? Happy to accept a :doh: moment if need be
