Hi all,

Own 1.8 K series (1999), had hg replaced along with water pump, battery, inlet manifold hose, oil and coolant flushes back in Oct. Yesterday I decided this is far too expensive to run and was enroute to Wales to sell. However on M4 started to judder while I was doing a steady 70mph, as if trying to cut out. It did, power steering, the lot, managed to pull over, just.

It was smelling of rotten eggs when i tried to restart. Mot'd Oct also so unlikely it would be the cat. Checked battery, but it was cool. AA took the family home and back there the guy said it was the rotor arm and dissy cap. There was a bit of crud on them, but made sense as sparking before dissy but not after.

Brand new dissy and rotor arm this morning, still no ignition, help would be greatly appreciated.

Cheers
