Series 3 Ignition barrel

Hi all had a bit of a mishap and lost the keys to the series, it's very simulare to the defender one bit the defender one has no facility for a choke. I don't need the choke so does anyone one know will the defender unit fit. I can get the series one but at £155 exchange it's a bit steep.

Who quoted 150 squid for an ignition barrel?

lr series seem to be out of stock

could a locksmith not make a key, or can you not just change the barrel inside?

Get me part number, I have a few from a Series 3.

My series has a defender ignition barrel, it was put on last year as the original one was knackered - not had any issue with it. Don't know how difficult it was as the chap at the near by Landy garage did it

Unfortunately I don't have a part number Eric, cheers Matty sounds like a defender one will fit.
