If you bought a standard landy with no extras what would you do to it

sell it to some one who wants a standard motor
It would be wasted on me

Leave it be and enjoy having an original Landy.

Get the LR optional extras like leaks and rust patches fitted so I could be like everybody else!

They're generous these days, those are factory fit now

Mine was standard when I bought it except for A/T tyres. Since then I've fitted a new engine, winch bumper with winch, M//T tyres, a new roof without sunroof, van sides instead of station wagon sides, snorkel and wading kit, and a roof rack!
I've just started to rebuild it because it needs a bit of work!

Series LWB - nothing
Series SWB -7.50 tyres
Defender 90 - big 8-spokes & mud tyres, +2" suspension, snorkel, winch bumper, CB
Defender 110 - Boost alloys
Defender 130 - nothing
Discovery 1 - big 8-spokes & mud tyres, +2" suspension, snorkel, winch bumper, CB
Discovery 2 - nothing
Discovery 3 - nothing
Discovery 4 - nothing
Freelander 1 - nothing
Freelander 2 - nothing
Range Rover Classic - stroke the bonnet, kiss it a bit, then nothing
Range Rover P38 - nothing
Range Rover L322 - nothing
Range Rover L405 - nothing
Range Rover Evoque - find another one to drive into then set fire to both of them
Range Rover Sport - nothing
Lightweight - desert camo paint & FFR kit
101 FC - nothing

mine was standard 200tdi defender before being rolled and left in a farm for 11 years , then I bought it, repaired the damage with new panels and crossmember and the mods are as follows
discovery transfer box
3ootdi axles ( 24 spline)
winch bumper
winch
mud terrain tyres
tubular front shock turrets

iv only had it a month ( including rebuild) so much more to come , ( cage, ARB'S ect ....)
