Combine the attributes of a Volvo with a Landie, now that would be sommat,

I am driving an old volvo estate at the moment, very different from the land
rover experience but the same feeling of security.

Saabs have the same 'secure' feeling too! I reckon a lot of it has to
do with how damn heavy the doors are! :)
You dont quite have the same 'cavernous' feeling as being in a landy
or a volvo estate though (less boxy i guess)

I agree with the doors, It's one of our critera when purchasing a car. Gotta
sound right when closed.

IIa no....New VW Beetle Convertable very much yes!

Or by security did you mean no one in their right mind would nick one? ;0)

Looks as if Volvo was trying to give the FC101 a run for its money. It would
appear that the Volvo get more articulation something that is difficult for
the 101 if memory serves me right.
