Idle after injection pump bush change

Hello all
I’ve just changed the injection pump bush on my 300tdi and after putting it back together it won’t idle.
I took all the necessary measurements before starting with a vernier and have had it off twice again.
Any pointers would be appreciated

Did you check the position of the slot in the top of the spindle? it does not take a lot for the spindle to be out of position.
Are you sure you have put the spindle back in the right way when you put the top back on?

Have you tried taking the control arm off and turning the spindel slightly to see if it will idle?
