Identifying Suspension Knocks on an FL1

Yeah, checked those thoroughly. No play at all. I'll be trying @andyfreelandy 's suggestion of the top nuts on the struts next.

Been chasing the usual knocks, just sorted the main ones with new drop links and two days later a knock/rattle reappears!
Mainly on acceleration and cornering one way but not the other, sounded like a really expensive knock/rattle. It really sounded like a bag of spanners at times.
Nothing obvious around the wheels, crow bar in trying to find play with wishbones, track rod ends, CV joints, tie bars, engine mounts etc. Nothing - errant bag of spanners still evident at times.
Eventually spot a "large twig - small branch" of a tree wedged between the subframe, anti-roll bar and exhaust down pipe - removed and now rattle free!
So - it is not always the obvious expensive mechanical issue!
