hi all i am looking at buying a p38 on monday it is a 97 derv can anyone tell me where to check the id as the owner at the moment thinks he is a bit of a gangster and looks a bit dodgey if you know what i mean

i was going to do that but how do i check the numbers on the car tie up with the log book?
where are they found on the vehicle

i dont know where the vin plate is on a rangie, its onto of the brake servo on a defender and on the front by the rad on a disco, so try there.

Walk away, you have made a judgement regarding the seller, trust your instincts.

If you buy the car you will always wonder about it, wether you've HPI checked it or not.

yup, im with looksy on this, go with yer fust instinct. if yer thought that at fust, imagine what nagging doubt will do for it!
