Why not find a decent independent LR expert who'll sort it for you?

If the light is on, it means there is a fault D'oh! For your (and your family's?) SAFETY just get it fixed!

As I've posted elsewhere, I can recommend someone (he sorted mine) but he's in north Essex (and no I'm not on commission, unfortunately).
