Maybe, but who do you think the silly sod will be that has to do the job;).
The trap for that shower is outside so no problem:p.

Oh I did clear the drain for the kitchen sink too, as somebody;) had stuffed the washing machine outlet down to far (when a new machine was installed and I was working away) and it had got covered in "gunky" stuff over the last couple of years:D.

What a gorgeous day it has been here, spent the day doing a few deliveries of engine parts cause my son has a driver short, 200 miles done and no traffic hold ups just clear skies and sunshine.

Drains are a laugh aren't they?
In our master bathroom we have a bog, a bath, a shower and two basins. Or we will once i have figured out how to make the shower safe for Wifey and plumbed it, the bath and one of the basins in. The bog is in and working as is one of the basins.
But when I took the bog apart to replace the rusting bolts, and put it all back together again, we slowly realised we had the typical "French drain" smell in there.
Weird thought I, as I thought I had put everything back exactly as it was. So I went in and simply checked all open drainpipes were taped over, and the temporary joins were taped over too, the one to the bath had never been taped over for all the years and we had no smell. I'm talking since about 2012.
Of course, no stink pipes. Cannot explain what they are to a Frog!!
    Drives me round the bend.:D:D:D

Now wondering if the cause of the pong could be the seal between the cistern and the pan? But the watter in the U bend part of the bog should cover that shouldn't it?
Just thought again and yes it would.
    silly me!:(

Certainly damp! It is getting a bit brighter now but that is only a temporary blip unfortunately as more of the wet stuff is queueing up in the wings.:(
Hard to believe but it is already mid-week so enjoy it if you can.

It has rained overnight, but is dry now. :)
A little bit overcast, but still about 14° outside and 20° indoors. :)
