Afternoon everyone. Fortunately my "mid life crisis" (as my wife calls it, haha) is still going strong many many years after it started....
Despite having been a follower of this sight for a long time and reading all the horrendous tales of doom and gloom, I've gone and bought a Range Rover P38 2.5 dse. And just so I don't get lulled into a false sense of security by buying a good one and then having problems......I've bought one that already has problems...!!! What have I done?..........Haha.
Seriously though I've been after one for a while, and am a serial tinkerer, and get a bizarre sense of satisfaction by picking up non running cars, and trying to get them sorted, and not be a billion pounds out of pocket.
This one came via a large internet auction site and seems like I've picked up a bit of a steal, if all else fails, I know its worth far more in bits than I've paid for it, but i'm hoping I will soon get it going and get out and enjoy it.
I'll post in the technical section the 2 main issues I know of, 1 of which i think I know the answer to, the other I'm definitely going to need some guidance on.....
Pick it up on Friday, and excited for the roller coaster ride of P38 ownership to begin.
