After almost completing my first restoration, on a 90, just thought i would look on a second hand site for any bargains. guess what i happen to stumble upon? a 110 county, from 1984, started life as a V8, converted to a 2.5D. Looks really neat, also strangely enough THE EXACT SAME PAINT/STICKER SCHEME AS ME 90!
it's selling for 2000€. (For you british peepz, that's about 1410£). Problems? Well, yes there are a few. Right hand footwell is a bit rotten through. Bulkhead has a few rust spots, and also, only running on 3 cylinders. I just hope it's something simple enough. I don't mind big jobs, contrary. Something to keep me off the computer? perfect. Bit of a trek to go get it, 725kliks away. I think the disco is up to the job though :) Started one restoration at 13, now onto another at 14. I wonder who my parents will blame for lack of money? oops.. Pictures? here ya go!

Well, as it turns out, maybe not. Someone is coming down to see it tomorrow, at that price it's almost certain he's going to get it :( The earliest i could come down is Friday, so in the event he won't get it, i'll be the buyer. Highly doubt i'm gonna get it though.

Do what I did if you definitely want it and paypal the bloke 50 euros as a deposit, I've just bought a disco for £400 with a spare set of wheels and almost new general grabber at2's on the alloys fitted as well as a load of spare bits in the boot

You see, i would do that, but he wants everyone to have a very good close inspection before ANY transactions are made, i offered him a check of the full amount, he would not take it. He is very attached to his landy, quite rightly so, but that means it has to go to the right person. Even though i showed him the vids of my restoration, and after telling him it would get the same treatment, AND him having said he was in no hurry to sell it, he sold it in 5 fkin seconds :D
It's a real shame if it does get sold, which i am sure it will, at that price, for PARTS it's a good deal.
