I spoke too soon!

My Disco 2 front sun roof appears to leak like a sieve. I suppose those weather was going to find it out. Water is dripping through the sun visor mounts so I want to get it sorted.

Firstly, it's still under the three month warranty from the garage where I bought it last week, so hopefully they can sort it.

I do have a brand new rubber sun roof seal that I got with my previous Disco 1 but I never got round to using it. Do you know if they are an identical size? If so I'll give it to the garage to sort.

Sadly, most leaks are where the sunroof body seals to the roof panel, plus the roof bar mounts are not positively sealed either.

The tray that collects water that gets in via the glass seal leaks out past the screws that hold it to the main body. I put rubber washers under all of the screw heads on mine.

The seals are the same for D1 & D2, I'm pretty sure about that.

The glass seal can become unseated, it isn't glued in, so check that is hasn't been allowed to come out of the groove.
