As the thread heading states really i know absolutely nothing about engines!
So when my disco went wonky! i knew it was probably the starter motor but i couldn't even tell you were it even is:eek: i know most if not all of you guys will laugh heartily at this but i had to take it to the local 4x4 garage and shelled out £182 for a new one:eek:
As it was, the first one they fitted was knackered! luckily they ordered 2:rolleyes:
i bought my Disco 2 months ago from someone who i work with, their partner told me they replaced the starter motor 2 years ago:confused: but when the mechanic got it out and compared with the Britpart he was putting in, they were completely different and my old one looked 20 years old in comparrison!!
at least i got my baby back!

Hey, you've survived half an hour without anyone tekin the piddle, I'd say that was pretty good for LZ. :D
