I just joined Landy Zone !

Hi

I joined today so just introducing myself.
I am located in Leatherhead, Surrey, UK.

I have a 2003 Disco 2 TD5 ES Auto with 80k on the clock.
Yes it seems to be experiencing all of the known problems that these cars go through.
It is good to have a source of knowledge on the LandyZone to discuss them.

I will be checking in, now and again just to keep an eye out for interesting Land Rover Stuff going on too.

Good to be among like minded Land Rover nuts!

Story so far on my disco

Things that went bang since I bought it:-

• Alternator - Fell off, burned down and then sank into the swamp.
• Oil Pipe - Went with the altenator
• ABS Sensor on NSF hub - joined them.
• New Brakes all round - cross drilled vented and grooved - nice!
• Sun Roofs leaked - a good clean fixed them.
• Windscreen leaked - bottle of Captain Tolleys fixed that!
• All tyres were over 13 years old - so 5 New Tyres - Nokian weatherproof SUV - excellent value! - all the way from Russia!
• 3 Amigos keep me company on many a journey!
• Today theAir con packed up so it is in the garage being fixed.

Yes I bought the GWAC numberplate as a homage to the first pre-production Disco 1 (which I actually wanted but could not find one)
