I have got me 3/16 pipe what else?

Hi there.
Found 3/16 brake pipe
3/16 BRITISH STANDARDS KUNIFER CUPRO NICKEL BRAKE PIPE on eBay (end time 01-Jul-10 14:38:24 BST)
or
3/16"X 25 FT SOFT 22G COPPER BRAKE PIPE MINI LAND ROVER on eBay (end time 16-Jun-10 17:16:59 BST)
now all i need to know is are the male and female 'ends' a standard size?
I know you get either metric or imperial, say for arguments sake I use just metric
How do I know whether these(Land Rover Defender 90 Extended Braided Brake Hose Kit on eBay (end time 14-Jun-10 22:27:24 BST)) are metric or imperial?
I assume imperial as they usually specify.
Anyone got any better links for cheaper parts
and all the 'ends'

hi i used vehicleproducts.co.uk for my brake pipe bits do not now what reg your 90 is but mine is y2000 td5 90 and they were metric

The braided hoses link says suitable for 1984 to 1998 90/defenders in the ad.
The down side is that they are britpart- I wouldn't risk britpart stuff on a safety critical component.

The fittings will be M10 x 1.

Yeah I noticed the ****part logo.
Will keep looking for those methinks.
I dont know where to get the fittings for the ends of the copper pipe and the sizes of the fittings.

Its a 1987lr90
I think its gonna be imperial.
But if I am making all the pipes myself I can just use metric and buy metric braided hoses.
gonna check out vehicle products now

alright mate. any car supplies show like kevin coopers sell em. there around 50p each i think. you want male. just get a load of each and match up to what you have on the car already. if you want me to show you how to do the pipes i can, its quite simple though. if you get desperate go to kwik fot and they should be able to give you some, thats what i have done in the past

I worried a bit as I dont want to buy the wrong bits.
If I buy metric flexi pipes and my ends are imperial, I will be annoied and invent swearwords
Might order the flexi, cant do fekall till next weekend as got family stuff to do this weekend, landy will have to wait

That way I can make sure I have right bits.
Oh BTW brookwells in Bovey do the pipe cheaper than Egay.
