I can't pull anymore (Superwinch Husky)

I've used the search function but can't find anything recent so I'm after some advice?

After 16 years of reliable service my Superwinch Husky (8514 12v) has finally said enough! It has just stopped working I was using it a couple of weeks ago and the 'pull seemed quite weak' (I was trying to recover myself and a 2 tonne trailer up a slope at the time!) It sounds like the solenoid is still working so it may just be the motor but I really have no idea. Could you please recommend someone in the Northwest who can look at it/service/repair for beer tokens or cash?

Update 1 month on!

Def90man - thanks for your input, I'd checked the connections and they were all good, I had fitted an new bumper in November and cleaned everything up.
Henryiett - unfortunately Superwinch UK are no more, they have been bought out by an American company. While they were very prompt in replying to my email enquiry about spares they simply stated spares weren't available and they didn't know if any are available, so dead end.

I thought about recovery companies but while searching on Ebay one evening I discovered someone who refurb's Superwinches. After a couple of phone call's I drove the 2hours to Matt (Bolsover) who looked it over put on another solenoid which got it working again, however I wanted a proper job doing so I left it with him for a full service, new solenoid, seals and stickers. When he stripped my motor down it had cracks in the bushes, not something he'd seen before! I asked him to source a good quality new motor. He did within a week and a fortnight after dropping it off I went back over and we refitted the winch. It now pulls better than ever so top job and thank you Matt! I asked Matt about putting his details on here and he said he was happy for me to PM anyone who wants them.
