They didnt have any thin cutting discs at the local place so I went at it with a hack saw either side and it worked a treat. I should have thought of that first, although my arm hurts now. It will have to go back together another day though as paddocks sent me the wrong bolts and britpart bushes even though I paid the extra for genuine ones.

Do the bushes have a "G" on the end of the part number on the box?
if so, they are genuine, just distributed by Britpart - that's what Paddocks will tell you anyway. Actually, they're OK.

Thats one less thing to worry about then the part numbers all end in G. just have to get some correct bolts i'll probably just get them local save sending them back and forth.

Oil it well and cut right down the orange lines with a hacksaw and a new blade.

Takes some effort but thye outcome is no damage at axle brackets.

This still leaves you with the shank of the bolt stuck in the bush in the arm.

Three ways to do it
hydraulic press
BIG hammer and drift
gas axe.

Hack saw through the orange lines ( using some oil to lube it as it will stick/pinch the blade ) if you dont want to get a disc cutter to it .

that makes at least 4 people who have fallen asleep whilst reading this thread, 109party, demitrious1973, CharlesY and now sypher
