Yesterday Morning was heading out for the day I started my 2006 Vogue L322 up and the coolant warning notice, so I topped her up with coolant and set off, as I pulled up at a set of lights I noticed a rather large amount of white smoke coming out the exhaust, I drove for 10 more minutes until I turned her off for a few hours. Started her back up and again white smoke coming out the back within 200m the temperature gauge was up to half way, I drove for a few minutes and the smoke was getting worse so I pulled over again turned her off for a few minutes and then she would not start again, got recovered back to my home address, next morning I tried jumping the car and she started up again but the white smoke is worse, however on initial start up it takes a few minutes before the white smoke comes out. I know I have a coolant leak as it is already empty and white smoke means head gasket just hoping someone can give me a bit more clarification on the matter

Thanks Mike.

Welcome.

That sounds like a headgasket.

Being a 2006 is she a 4.4 or 4.2 supercharged?

I seldom hear of Jaguar V8s blowing HG's has she been overheated?

was there a drop in coolant before white smoke?
