"How's It Going" or "How Ye Daein"?

Looks like a very good forum/community - the internet surely has broken down the tyranny of distance. I was still a teenager. My dad convinced my mum to emigrate - his parents, brothers and sisters (all ten of them) were already here; my dad worked in the shipyards and the glory days, in fact any days, were well and truly gone! Sad...

My mum used to tell me all the snobs lived in Perth - they were so snobbish in fact that they didn't even speak like true Scots!
