Hi another point on my MOT was rot in outrigger but It appears to be the outrigger body mount. The rot appears on the inside were the sill is. I have no idea though how to move the outrigger arm out of the way to get the grinder in to cut a square out and put a plate in the hole. Was also thinking of cutting the mount off plating behind and welding it back on. How do I get the access?

Cheers.

i would support body and cut mount off repair sill then re-weld back on , a dremel or die grinder with suitable bits can be useful cleaning awkward areas

id undue body mount and cut away mount to gain access and repair sill and repace with a new body mount.it makes the job so much easier.as above support body with a jack and a pieace of wood to spread the weight

Im planning on box sectioning the sills anyway and just need to get it through the mot. Ill probably just rip it out like you say weld it up and then replace both side mounts and weld to the box section when I change sills.

there plenty infor on here regarding box section.i did the box section, best tip i would say is remove the doors or you be spending your time walking around them. it also take the weight off the door pillers. :)
