How to remove exhaust system.

Can I get some diagrams and such on the Freelander 1 exhaust system.
My Freelander 1 has been puttering out of the exhaust connection point directly under the front seat area.
I think if I can remove the rear 2/3 of the exhaust system it will resolve my problem.
That is when one pushes on the gas pedal too much it moves forward but very quickly bogs down.
