I need to replace the bulb in the 4 way flasher switch on my 2006 TD4.

I have removed the cup holder and can get my fingers to the rear of the row of switches, but how exactly does the switch come out?

I don't want to damage it by using brute force.

I can remove all the switches in that row except the one I want out!
Sod's law!

Help......
I don't want to break anything. :(

Just had a look at some pics of some on e bay and it looks like there is a metal spring clip on the top and bottom of the switch to deal with...same switch up to 06.

On mine up to 03 Haynes says to remove the radio, three heater dials then the two screws that secure the switch panel... not sure about your 06 dash though.

My Haynes says they all just push out after removing the drinks holder. There are images showing this. I don't think my Landy has read the Haynes manual though.

They all do just push out, but the 4 way flasher switch is resisting my attempts to push it out and I am wary that I am heavy handed so don't want to break anything.

I have found a thread on here from 2012 about this very subject.

It seems you also need to insert a very small blade from the front whilst pushing from the rear.
Doesn't say that in Haynes.

Also, the switch is NOT a serviceable part, so Land Rover expect you to purchase a new switch.

There was also a link to a bulb and holder which may fit so more research is needed.

I don't think I will be paying around £30 to replace a switch just because a bulb has gone!
