how to install hid kit in a defender

I have been givin a hid kit for free:) and i am thinking of throwing it on my 90 as they are alot brighter. how do you wire it in as it has power to go to battery i get that bit but not the control side of it it comes with a 3 pin plug for hi low how do you wire this in brown blue and yellow wires thanks.

surely you connect the plug to the low and high beam feeds?? If you can't even figure that much out. I'd leave em in the shed until you can find someone who knows what he's doing.,


Oh and of course it'll fail the MOT if you do fit em. :(
 
the ones I have seen use solenoid dipping and it will fail mot
 
I had a set of £20 headlamps from bearmach clear jobs much better than originals
 
mine are like these( can't be arsed to look if exactly same) with later half bowl mounts
 
I've HIDs in my cars as they already have projector lamps as standard and they are amazing but I'm quite happy with nightbreakers in the 110 and also have night breakers in the four roof spots so there's no shortage of light! :D
 
Personally I'd get some relays, quality wire, male and female H4 connectors and a couple of good H4 bulbs and wire in a new circuit so the standard switch is just controlling the relays instead
