Hi everyone, new on here looking for some help or idea's with a problem i have come across, have just bought a pair of range rover diffs to put in my series 3 and have noticed that the oil filler on my landy is on the front of the diff itself and the rangie filler was on the back on the axle caseing, this will leave me with nowhere to fill the oil up any ideas would be most welcome David

thats why rr diffs where commonly used as early rr ones had oil fillers in diff housing ,obviously later rr diffs are no different to disco or defender ,you can drill hole weld nut and make your own or pour measured amount through stub axle with half shaft removed and vehicle jacked as high as possible on same side

thanks for that, thought it would come to welding, that also answers another question because i was told the diffs in it were rangie ones but was wondering with the oil plug difference ,the ones i got were out of a 92 rangie, still got the plugs out of rangie ,will weld a 1"pipe conector on and screw into that
