Hi, just joined the forum today and have had my Landrover 110 (L reg) for a couple of months. In the pub a friend of mine said i should be able to cut an overgrown field of mine by buying a 'cutter attachment' which should fit onto my Landrover. Does anyone know if this is true and have details on what i want, where i can get it from and does it work etc??

many thanks

People post here to hopefully find out other people experiances etc..
Maybe a " I googled and found this" may work better than a reply that looks
to a new user like go away and google :)

i merely asked if he had :googleit:?
He mite have come back and said he had looked, but wanted recommendations.

I am not sure how either you, nor I can guess what toonces wanted, but may I suggest a thick skin mite be useful?

I don't have much of a lawn but I want one!

google fer "gang mowers", that's what that landy is towing

you can also get BIG ones that are PTO driven, but havent seen one of those since i wuz a lad

My mate's got a towable flail mower with a 10.5hp engine mounted on it. Tow behind a Landy or a Quad. It's a great bit of kit for rough ground and tough brambles etc, but it cost him nearly 4 grand.

This is my ground driven gang mower. Only much use on fairly short grass and flat ground.

You might be able to find a pto driven flail mower or topper but then you'll need a pto on the landy. Or you can get the afore mentioned toppers with their own engine but they are fookin expensive.
Best bet is get some animals to eat the stuff really.
