How much would you pay?

I've being offered a disco V8 3.9 LPG with 150 liters gas tanks. It's 96 ES with 130000 on the clock. No MOT but the only fails that I can find is inside the rear door arch a 5p size hole, and the drivers floor may also need doing as its stood for 12mth and the sunroof is leaking so its soaked. though on that side. Apart from that it pretty solid and may need a tyre. Now Ive just Moted mine after doing the sills, inerwings, a bottom of a door post and rear arches mine on gas too but with 60ltr tanks and a 95 EX(i think no leather/heated seats and no front fogs). And a couple of advisories which are done. Now the guy said I can take it away for £700 is that worth it cause it is solid mainly? And shouldn't take to much to go though Mot. any V8 disco with no MOT is only worth £200 - £400.

What Trewy said. Look on ebay at 'auction ended' prices .. and currently there's a few up at much less than £200 ...

Unfotunately V8, whatever you run it on, just isn't flavour of the month unless you just love V8's and aren't bothered what it's true real-world worth is.

200 - 300 quid based on the value of the bits you could salvage from it. V8 engines are pretty worthless at the moment and likely to stay that way.
