How Much Oil Will I Need

how much oild will i need for my box and diffs on a series 3 just so i know do i buy a couple of 1 liters or a 5 liter bottle.

the diffs hold about 1.5 litres each.
donno bout series boxes though.

well both diffs and the box all leak so it looks like id be better with a 5 liter bottle then.

you'll deffo need more than 5 litres - series has ep90 in the gearbox as well as the transfer box dunt it?

with series seals you wil need infinity oil to fill a series box! but from memory about 7-8L should do axles , box and transfer case, i buy gear oil 25l at a time from my work cause its cheaper that way

Nah, they dun't have ter be. If you find somewhere it's ****ing out, do something about it (sort the seal or whatever). If you find wee bits seeping out here & there, nipping bolts up to the correct torque can sort a fair bit. I always find a few loose bolts & leaks on a motor that's new to me, but it dun't take long to sort most of them.

ENV...............1.4ltr
salisbury.........2.5ltr

front swivels.....1.4ltr

and dint put gl5 oil in yer boxes its ok fer the diffs and swivels unless yer gort artic diffs fitted , which yer int
