How much for a second hand galvanised 90 chassis?

Anyone have any ideas roughly how much a second hand galvanised 90 chassis is or should be??

have a look on the second hand bit on Famous Fours website. They've got a rolling chassis for the sameish price as a new chassis.

Theres a guy on ebay seems to sell old chassis that he's had galvinised, but whoknows what they're like pre-galv - plus a second hand chassis as opposed to a new un can effect your points on vehicle originality.

Anyway, they seem to sell for about three hunner quid

I'd be a massive hypercrit if I worried about a chassis effecting originality, as I've got an Isuzu engine! Cheers for the info tho, when you say they sell for about £300, do you mean his "retro glav'd" ones or proper glav'd (like a richards one)? Cheers

the second hand ones are about 300 quid. I've seen nearly new richards at about 700. Considering I just paid 1400 for one, thats a not bad saving!

How much of that 1400 was delivery you'd still have to pay no matter how old it is or how much it costs.

good point - £150.. the chassis was 1050 plus a gift to HM Gov of 17.5%, so tuppence hapeny short of 1400..

I think the bloke selling 300 quid chassis was then looking for 270 to deliver!

hows it coming on mate, dya need the door hinge nut thingies, i think ive got some stainless bolts fer em as well

Its going ok ish might still get it sorted for the end of the month but I ant done half the stuff I wanted to do like mek the rock/tree sliders, lecky fans, new grill with spot lamps sat inside em, snorkle just ant had time. Will be fitting cab next week with a bit o luck so will need nut things an I ant ordered any yet. Have yer got any going spare?

Oh Ok, cause I found a guy selling one for £400 and I figured I could probly make some money on it...maybe not then
