how much can factory roof bars carry

Hi all,

can anyone tell me if it would be ok to carry a kayak on the land rover factory roof-bars and original rails??

Shouldn't be a problem aside from a bit of over hang over the bonnet from the kayak. Weight limit to be placed on the roof is 50kg.

depends on how big and heavy yer boat is and where/how youre driving and which particular design of landrover roof bars youve got.
