How long till oil level stabilises after oil change

It is many years since I worked on one, and TBH, I can't remember.
But at a guess, bit more than that, maybe max 2000 odd rpm, but they would probably run about 1200, max torque, and save fuel.

Yes, they sound pretty good, especially two of them in a tug under load pulling a train of lighters.

We have a few old barge guys down the club, you can sort of tell them from a hundred yards as they are the ones with roll ups on their bottom lip 24/7
