How I justify my Defender...

My girlfriend loves my Defender and offroading and camping so quite easy to justify getting bits for it means I'm getting something for both to enjoy :D

Also use it for towing the trackcar and other recoveries.
Use it at home on the farm for going through the fields and pulling the cattle box when need to move them or sell them

Also keeps me occupied and out of trouble at weekends fixing it or offroading when I've nothing else to do :D

Our Defender actually belongs to her indoors. She gets a more enthusiastic wave from other Defender owners than I get when I drive, her being pretty, blonde and female! :(

Been out preparing for the supposed cold spell. Had my eye on this tree for 18 months or more. Coming home to daddy :D

Took two trips to get it back

The wheelie bin is a third full of saw dust but the wood feels nice and dry

Just needs splitting and it can join the rest in my old pig pen at the bottom of the garden that's now the wood store :D

Should last a good few weeks :D

Much prefer a one bar electric fire miself

One day I will have a log burner :(
Mine's only a cheapo one from machine mart but I bet we've put a few tonne of wood in it over the past seven or so years we've had it. The grate has started to disintegrate:p. My stihl chainsaw has paid for itself a few times over as well, I did have a cheap one from Argos but I shook it to bits in a fortnight but the stihl's been fantastic :D

If that's yer pig pen where's yer pig going to sleep? In yer bed while your on the floor?

Evidently that's whet people used to do in the olden days, don't you remember??:D I think that the house was built around 1900-1905
I int as old as you. I always thought tratterers kept pigs as pets. Not for anything else.

See @Hippo another reason why tratters are far superior to hippos

Maybe I shouldn't have worn my nice new work uniform :p

You couldn't get that in the back of a hippo without knackering your nice carpets and indoor pool. Had to put me pig in the front though. :p
