I have been hearing alot about Defender thefts and ringing, especially in the North of England. I'm in N Ireland where this is not an extensive problem... YET. We have a superb police car crime team which the public saved from closure by the chief constable. It's also a relatively small place here where nicked landy's might stick out - which is a plus.
How extensive is the Defender ringing in England and what are the usual traits/habits of the theives? What are the things to look out for? Is it mostly individuals selling on forums and websites or has it reached the dealer level?
